Smash
the Man
web site
utilizes
three sets
of top
menus, a
side
menu,
and a
bottom
(footer)
menu to
aid in
navigation.
JavaScript
and
cookies
are
heavily
utilized
in the
STM site
so
browser
options
and
firewall/virus
software
must be
set to
allow
this
functionality. The
following
are
detailed
instructions
for each
of these
navigation
components.
The top
drop-down
menu
features
three drop
down boxes
that you may
use to
navigate to
the most
popular
areas of the
site.
Simply
select the
area you
wish to
visit from
the drop
down menu.
The top
menu
features six
large
circular
buttons that
you may use
to access
the
informational
areas of the
site
including
the "evil
company"
ranking, the
online store
(coming in
2006),
information
about Smash
the Man,
congratulatory
complements
we've
received,
negative
comments
we've
received,
and links to
similar
sites.
The top
menu offers
links to
each of the
areas in the
site.
Clicking
these will
take you to
the main
"home" page
for that
particular
area.
The
left-hand
menu,
described
below, will
change to
allow access
to sub-areas
related to
the area you
access.
The
left-hand
side menu
offers links
to
sub-areas.
These links
will change
depending
upon which
area you are
currently
visiting.
For
example,
clicking the
Forums link
on the top
menu will
take you to
the "home"
page for the
online
discussion
groups.
The
left-hand
menu will
subsequently
change to
feature the
forums sub
areas
including
the logon
link and the
link to post
new
articles.
The top
menu offers
links to
each of the
areas in the
site.
